ABB Way Finance Transformation Program Integration Lead

The ABB Way Finance Transformation Program is a business-led program that will help to underpin the new ABB Way operating model and the decentralization agenda. It is a key first step in modernizing the finance part of our legacy ERP estate and will create sustainable benefits for ABB. The Integration Lead will play a key role in the multi-year Global ABB Way Finance Transformation program, ensuring that key deliverables that span across Processes, Data, Technology and Change are delivered to plan as per the program objectives. This includes coordinating across processes as well as integrating with other key programmes such as Workday. It is primarily a coordination role and so will require strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, strong understanding of Finance within ABB and an ability to foresee the upcoming challenges for the program. The Integration Lead will work collaboratively with the program and process leads from ABB and report directly into the Program Lead.

Your responsibilities

  • Ownership of agreed Integration items (list to be reviewed and agreed within the program on an ongoing basis)
  • Overseeing the plan for these agreed integration items and making sure they are delivered on time
  • Coordinating the different workstreams for agreed integration items including setting up and facilitating key workshops
  • Direct liaisons with external partner for day-to-day operations
  • Alignment with other ABB programs as required
  • Forward planning to determine the upcoming integration challenges that will need managing
  • Carrying out the necessary PMO activities required of the role (status reporting, representing at key governance forums etc)

Your background

  • University level education
  • 10-15 years experience of working in large multinational corporations
  • Significant experience of playing leading roles on at least 2-3 transformational programs involving technology implementations
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and flows
  • Good understanding of finance processes
  • Proven success in leading workstreams and teams to successful delivery
  • Proven success in managing complex stakeholder environments and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Superior reporting and communication skills both across the project landscape and upwards to senior management
  • Experience of managing external partners / consultants on similar transformation programs
