This position offers the right candidate a key position as a sales representative and will provide opportunities for career development and growth.The Sales Representative is part of Unity Lab Services, which unites deep scientific expertise, a collaborative culture and rich resources to deliver services for chromatography and molecular scientific equipment that our customers need to achieve their scientific goals – quickly, reliably, and safely.   • Meet and exceed assigned geographic territory forecast by passionately pursuing new sales opportunities and effectively establishing strong business relationships with our current and future client base
  • Identify, develop and build a network with customers and cross-divisional partners to promote our contract portfolio
  • Seek out new business potentials to grow the sales pipeline and convert them into new contract sales
  • Continually promote Thermo Fisher Scientific’s breadth of service portfolio offerings on all sales calls to achieve maximum client solution opportunities
  • Participate as a team member in all assigned strategic sales and focus account initiatives
Keys to Success:Education
  • A Bachelor’s Degree; with an emphasis in Sciences is desired
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of a highly successful medical device or lab sales experience, industry and/or academia experience
  • Experience selling through multiple partners including direct sales and marketing is desired
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Must have an outstanding understanding of our markets and be knowledgeable of diverse medical and science products and services
  • Outstanding analytical capability and problem-solving skills
  • Highly motivated, independent self-starter
  • Ability to work in a team environment and influence others to achieve results
  • Ability to optimally learn and use online CRM applications preferably Salesforce.com
  • Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communications abilities
  • Evidence of professional presentation skills
  • Outstanding follow-up and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel to accomplish assigned goals
