HackVentures is out to become the largest investor across Climate / Health / Food - without raising a single fund. We allow angels to invest small ($1k+) tickets across startups working on shaping a better people/planet and are out to deploy $1bn into climate tech solutions by 2026.

Our team is rapidly growing. We are looking for an enthusiastic part-time Financial Accountant (IFRS) to help with financial accounting, reporting and administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will be someone deeply passionate about the Climate and Health sector, interested in FinTech, and has concrete administrative experience as a certified accountant.

Tasks

We’re looking for a Financial Accountant (IFRS) to support our operation, manage our accounts, provide monthly reports and coordinate fiduciary, taxes, insurances and various administrative tasks.

You are a certified accountant in Switzerland, with concrete similar experience and are willing to take on various tasks with a proactive attitude. A quick learner, you’re organized and have strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will be expected to :
  • Keep our financial accounts in order and up-to-date
  • Processing administrative documents, preparing invoices, filing insurance, taxes, bankin, and fiduciary documents.
  • Develop and implement an efficient, digitalized, filing system.
  • Coordinate with our fiduciary for the bookkeeping of our operational accounts.
  • Keep track of the company’s financial performance and support the COO with monthly reporting.
  • Working with the COO to identify specific areas worthy of further investigation to improve our current and future operational processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position in Switzerland, preferably as a certified (IFRS) accountant. An understanding of the Swiss and Luxembourg financial & tax laws is a big plus. Interest for the FinTech, Impact Investment and Private Equity.

Requirements
  • Experience in similar Accounting & Administrative roles.
  • IFRS certification or similar Swiss certification
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interest in sustainability, technology and private equity.
  • Digital native and tech-savvy
  • An adaptable, can-do spirit.
  • Resourceful and self-starter.
  • Ability to take and give constructive feedback.
  • Proficiency in English and excellent writing skills.
Experience in private equity / VC firm as a Financial Accountant is a plus.

  • Starting Salary: TBD - CHF 30,000 - CHF 45,000 per year depending on experience (part-time).
