About Our Client

Our client is a global medical equipment provider. They improve millions of lives by producing functional and efficient solutions that set the standards for mobility therapy.

We are looking for a interim Financial Accountant (3-4 months, 100%) to support their local office in Volketswil as soon as possible.

Job Description

ASAP Accountant needed to support the local finance team until the end of March 2023. Help clear the backlog from the current financial year. AP/AR and GL accounting will make up the bulk of the workload.

The Successful Applicant
  • Cash management, reconcile bank statements to ERP transactions
  • Inter-company reconciliations AP/AR with group entities
  • Receivables: review invoices and ensure timely revenue recognition in coordination with the supply chain team
  • Record assets, account for depreciation, follow-up as required
  • General ledger: reconcile with subsidiary ledgers, and record any necessary adjustment Familiar with the SAP/ERP (Oracle Fusion would be plus)
  • Knowledge of US GAAP would be considered a plus
What’s on Offer
  • Education: BSc accounting or similar
  • Experience: 1-3 years experience in bookkeeping and accounting
  • ERP knowledge, Oracle Fusion, SAP, Excel
  • Performance and process oriented, committed, and self-driven
  • Fluent in English, any additional language is a plus (German, Italian, French)
