AMB21 Facility & Maintenance Manager (f/m/d)

… your initial mission will be: taking the responsibility for technical & infrastructural facility management as well as for the maintenance of the RUAG Space Switzerland sites. In this function you are process owner of all facility management processes and guidelines.

Your area of responsibility

  • Responsible for the central management of rental space at RSS
  • Development and implementation of the facility processes and guidelines
  • Planning and coordinating space optimizations, conversions and moves (Move Management)
  • Process owner of all RSS FM processes
  • Budget-responsibility and managing RSS Infrastructure & FM cost centres. Including repair and maintenance budgets.
  • Approving and assisting in the development of specifications regarding construction projects/requests
  • Planning and coordination of construction related projects in coordination with RR
  • Contact person for all issues related to pbFM (planning and construction-assisted FM) and infrastructure projects
  • Assumes coordination and cost control of construction projects
  • Coordinating the assignment, coordination and management of external and internal partners and service providers
  • Supporting compliance with environmental, health and safety quality standards on construction projects
  • Assisting with risk assessment and business outage prevention for new construction, remodel and site work projects
  • Managing / coordinating SLA`s / contracts related to facility services
  • Preparing the monthly MOR reports & KPI`s for the Infrastructure & Facility Management and reports regularly to the OPS Management team
  • Continuous process optimization of the assigned processes
  • Participating in cross-divisional & cross-departmental infrastructure project

Your profile

  • Education in Facility Management, Bachelor or Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education
  • Facility Management experience in an industry environment
  • Nice to have: Space, Aerospace or Medical industry experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid technical and production planning background in a project-based industry
  • Independent and self-organized way of working
  • Solution driven, willing to make a difference, strong entrepreneurial thinking and coordination skills
  • High energy level and persistence to achieve goals
  • Open-minded, strong communicator and networker, willingly involves others and shares information
  • Stress resistance and perseverance, able to keep structured and prioritize in a complex environment
