Our Opportunity:
Restaurant Brands International is looking for an Analyst, Digital Analytics - Burger King (EMEA) to join our Digital Analytics Team based in Zug. The Analyst, Digital Analytics will be responsible for supporting our Digital Marketing program strategy through analyzing digital channels performance as well as consumer, product, and market behavior to drive top-line sales, improved digital experiences, and guest experience driven business strategies.
Key position requirements include proficiency in data analysis and data manipulation with a strong familiarity with analytics tools, strong problem solving and presentation skills, with regular presenting to Burger King senior, C-level leadership and franchisees.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Digital Analytics Reporting
- Analytical support to help ensure the ongoing financial health, stability, and achievement of engagement, and experience goals/objectives of the Digital channels.
- Provide proactive support to ensure reporting and analysis needs across all digital programs are met through effective partnerships with performance analysis, marketing analytics, guest intelligence, and guest insights teams
- Lead initiatives to develop and maintain reporting infrastructure, including report/dashboard creation and maintenance
- Develop and disseminate periodically (or as needed) reports that provide actionable insights specific to targeted digital business objectives, including transactions, sign-ups, customer experience optimization, and engagement rate/conversion lifts)
- Effectively address business issues, identify, and implement appropriate solutions, influence, as appropriate, business decisions, and improve overall business results
- Provide support and participate in review meetings with business leaders to support the presentation of YTD actuals, budgets, and forecasts
- Run performance analysis on Digital Channels personalization strategies and targeted offers through guest data and behavior through (i.e. sign-ups, frequency, spend) and provide recommendations to improve guest experience and performance
- Participate in detailed segmentation analyses to drive better targeting for products and offers and the creation of targeted "personas" for the Burger King brand
- Identify opportunities to expand personal and team’s analytical capabilities through non-prescribed analyses and deeper data dives
- Develop/optimize reports and dashboards as necessary to facilitate cadenced and ad-hoc digital analytics requests, identify areas to increase efficiency and process automation and support initiatives for data integrity and data quality
- Partner with cross-functional teams to represent Digital’s impact on other business units and overall top-line key performance indicators
- A Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Big Data, or related field
- 1-3 years of digital, marketing, and/or analytics experience in a highly data-centric and data-driven environment
- Proficiency in data analysis and data manipulation with a strong familiarity with analytics tools (Amplitude, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI)
- Familiarity with data querying from relational databases and programing is a strong plus! (R, Python, SQL, Snowflake, AWS, Databricks, etc.)
- Knowledge of data modelling, data quality, and data enrichment techniques
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) as well as Outlook.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills to include formal presentation experience and the ability to prepare and present marketing presentations
- Excellent relationship-building skills with ability to influence direct reports and leadership alike
- Excellent organization and communication skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
