VANS EMEA is looking for an exceptional Apparel Product Manager responsible for the Special Make Up and Open Make Up SMU/OMU line in EMEA to join our Regional Product Creation team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role

As the EMEA SMU OMU Product Line Manager Apparel and Accessories, you w ill be responsible for owning and championing the regionally created lifestyle businesses for EMEA. You will create meaningful relationships with cross functional departments as you are the primary conduit between the regional teams. We are inspired by an individual who possesses an excellent understanding of the market, trends, and deep consumer connectivity. You will input into regional briefs that effectively communicates your consumer-focused perspective of the competitive landscape, market trend analysis.

How You Will Make a Difference:
Your innate understanding of the business, market, and consumer needs will provide valuable feedback and specific input to regional and global teams to drive our business

You own the article creation process and communicate updates to the relevant teams (design, merch, product development, etc.) in line with the creation calendar

Strong and clear cross functional communication with the above mentioned departments

Maintain a close collaboration with the Design and Development team to confirm accuracy of the projects as well as provide further info when needed

Partner with EMEA Product Development team keeping them informed as projects progress from concept to creation

Establish a close collaboration with the regional and global team structure to receive and share feedback and insights

Adhere to the global and regional product development and go to market calendar and prepare for key milestones

Ensure data excellence through PLM and seasonal line list updates

Continuous follow up of the sales forecasts and performance to provide data to the wider team

Maintaining and updating the line plan and PLM (Enovia) and ensure data accuracy

Your diverse experiences and background enable you to provide a unique perspective to fuel our global growth

Create and contribute to the cooperative team environment that promotes high performance standards and attainment of goals

Skills for Success

3+ years of experience in the apparel/fashion industry in product management, merchandising or similar function

A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements

Ability to think strategically and act tactically

Strong interpersonal communication, project management and problem-solving skills

Self-starter attitude and willingness to learn

Microsoft Office, Keynote, and basic Adobe Illustrator skills

Demonstrated knowledge of the target consumer, EMEA market and of product trends, especially in the lifestyle category with a strong consumer focus

Agile working style with the ability to demonstrate great organizational skills to facilitate multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

Attention to details and time-sensitivity
