Your field of responsibility


We are looking for an ambitious and skilled individual with solid technical profile to apply for a position as Application Developer & Business Analyst in our team “Essbase business analysis tool” of Management and Business Information Solutions (M&BIS) within Swiss Universal Bank. You will be responsible for analysis of requirements from the business, own development and programming of modules and applications as well as their testing, documentation and implementation in operation. Furthermore, you maintain and further develop our integrated Oracle Hyperion Essbase platform including its underlying DWH based on Microsoft SQL Server and its infrastructure. You collaborate with partners from finance areas across divisions and with internal customers.

Your skills and experience


You are a dedicated team player with a positive personality and can-do attitude. You demonstrate service orientation, reliability and development drive. Your skills and experience match the following requirements:

  • Experience with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server and ETL tools like MS SSIS
  • 1–2 years of experience as a software developer or in a systems architect role
  • Ideally developer knowledge of the OLAP database Oracle Hyperion Essbase
  • Experience in a programming language (e.g. Java, C#)
  • Solid competency in Microsoft Excel
  • You demonstrate excellent analytical skills and holistic thinking, flair for data and figures
  • Very good skills in spoken and written English; German language skills are a plus
  • You are a dedicated problem solver, focused on teamwork and possess good interpersonal skills
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
