Optotune is a growing and internationally active optics company based in Dietikon, Switzerland. We develop, manufacture and market the latest generation of adaptive optical elements for industrial and consumer markets.

Your goal is to grow Optotune’s consumer business, may that be by scaling up our core markets, finding new applications for existing products or developing new markets.

Tasks

  • Technical customer consulting and key account management
  • Understanding the customer needs and transforming them into successful products
  • Understanding prototype and performance evaluations
  • Writing reports and datasheets
  • Presentations and on-site customer support including travelling of approximately 20%
  • Collaboration in multidisciplinary project teams to achieve customer specific products
Requirements

  • MSc/BSc degree in physics, engineering, micro engineering, or equivalent studies is an advantage
  • Good Chinese and English knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills with fellow employees and customers
  • Technical understanding in optics, mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Experimental knowledge to design and realize prototypes
  • Handles multiple tasks well, prioritizes efficiently and effective implementer
  • Creative, critical and analytical mindset
