Our client is a company that produces and sells compressors, welding equipment, gardening tools, generators, construction equipment. This company is well-known in the Eastern Europe and is now expanding to the Western side.For the sales team we are looking for a quality sales person who can demonstrate the ability to manage a territory and that is able to organise him/herself and push products through a stockist base.Your tasksIn this position you will be responsible for the selling of the company’s manufactured range of equipment, tools and machinery in assigned countries (sales cycle: 1-3 months). More in details you will:
  • Search for new buyers and sales channels to open new accounts in order to grow the portfolio
  • Present/demonstrate the products to customers
  • Maintain the existing accounts
  • Communicate with existing/potential buyers
  • Travel to meet the potential and existing customers in the assigned regions and to participate to fairs (up to 2 weeks per month)
Your profileTo be successful in this position you have completed a commercial education (sales, marketing, etc.) or a technical degree with proven sales experience. More in details you offer:
  • At least 3-5 years of prior successful experience in sales of technical products in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary or in EMEA region to the various sales channels, incl. importers-distributors, wholesale, e-com, retail and direct sales to the plants/industrial buyers
  • Track record availability to show the results (e.g. increase in sales, margin and market share, replacement of competitors on the markets, etc.)
  • Experience in export in EU or EMEA region
  • Experience of working with technical products, which require service support
  • Marketing understanding and experience with trade fairs, online promotion, organisation of B2B events are a plus
  • Leadership experience is an advantage
  • Mother tongue level of English OR German (with good knowledge of the other language) and strong Russian knowledge (B2)
