MISSION:

An exciting opportunity within a dynamic team awaits the right candidate.

The Area Sales Manager will oversee our main agent for Eastern Europe and Russian region. This role will be accountable for developing strategic action plans with our partner and providing leadership support to develop the business and build long term trusted client relationships in the area.

In addition, the Area Sales Manager will be working on transversal projects contributing to the international business development of the brand and increasing productivity through its wholesale network.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


AGENT:

  • Build relationship with our partner and local retailers, gain more visibility on local activities, and provide regular support.
  • Follow budgets and monitor relevant KPIs - qualitative and quantitative.
  • Review and regularly analyze the network to ensure maximum performance and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage strategic changes in the market: opening, closing, change of retail partners…
  • Improve brand image and visibility – brand mix, space, location, SIS renovation…
  • Coordinate and ensure marketing plans are properly executed and aligned with global strategy.
  • Ensure the proper roll-out of the training strategy.
  • Act as brand ambassador.
  • Gather competitive intelligence.
  • Prepare presentations, analysis, and reports for territories under supervision.
  • Participate to the annual business plan review.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:

  • Support the roll-out of the “New Wholesale” strategy and initiatives across the markets.
  • Coordinate diverse projects aimed to improve business performance, visibility and productivity.
  • Create and update monthly dashboards to track changes in key metrics.
  • Prepare commercial and strategic presentations.
  • Bring new ideas and solutions to implement based on market analysis.
  • Support markets on local business development needs.


Profile

  • University degree in Business/Economy, MBA or equivalent proficiency.
  • Confirmed experience at market and/or HQ level.
  • Passionate about Luxury Business/Selective Distribution, watchmaking industry experience would be a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, diplomacy.
  • Leadership abilities to manage, delegate, mentor and develop a team.
  • Expert business acumen with strategic and analytical skills, creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive working attitude and willing to take challenges.
  • Open minded, ability to quickly adapt to changes and remain calm under pressure.
  • Proven capacity to roll-out multiple projects in parallel with strong attention to details.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (more especially excel and powerpoint)
  • Fluent in English and French - German or Russian would be a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Sensitivity to different cultures & foreign environment with the ability to travel abroad.
