Your tasks:
  • Support roles may include the following responsibilities: Training registrar focus: Coordinates training activities for customers and/or employees, which provide orientation or instruction in employee or customer development programs.
  • Duties include, but are not limited to: Use of various office equipment.
  • Coordinate the training and registration of Varian customers and employees (i.e. Sales, Service Customer Relations, MIS, management development) including the arrangements and details for off-site or specialized training needs/programs for employees and customers.
  • Assist in establishing, preparing, and/or distributing training schedules, catalogs, pre-class assignments and materials to customers and in-house personnel
  • Maintains records of course activity including participant lists, billing and payment records, and course evaluations, and prepares monthly registration reports and tracking of data for training.
  • Monitors and maintains inventories of training materials.
  • Assists in the preparation of instructional materials (i.e. training packets, audio-visual aids).
  • Makes routine contacts with vendors regarding materials, course times, and equipment needs
  • Copy center focus: Provides administrative and clerical support to relieve department managers or staff of administrative details.
  • May coordinate messages, appointments, and information to callers, file maintenance, department office supplies and mail.
  • Researches, compiles and proofs word processing assignments.
  • Coordinates the production queue and produces the copying output stages of orders according to customer specifications.
What you bring:
  • Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
  • Typical Education and Experience: High School Degree or equivalent. 2 - 3 years of related experience.
  • Experience with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
