A sneak peek of this exciting new project, which opens in July 2022, reveals that this newly revamped lifestyle hotel and Swiss hot spot that has previously been visited by the likes of Rihanna, Freddy Mercury, Grace Jones and Muhammad Ali as regular guests, overlooks the city center from Zurich’s stunning Uetliberg plateau and will offer 149 rooms and 87 stunning contemporary suites as well as several award-winning culinary concepts centered around FIVE’s hallmark musical stylings. The new FIVE hotel in Zurich will seamlessly unite the very best of Swiss hospitality with FIVE’s characteristic flair for an exceptionally indulgent experience for guests from the city and international visitors alike.

Our Human Resources team are the final piece of the puzzle, they are cultured yet trendy personalities with an intuitive ability to anticipate colleagues’ needs by being in the right place at the right time and delivering a hospitality experience that goes above and beyond - crafting experiences for our team members that last a lifetime.

As a human resources coordinator you will join a committed human resources team driven with the intent of delivering ‘FIVE-star’ guest experiences to an international diaspora.

As our ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly active environment. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are second to none and you enjoy developing solutions that push groundbreaking boundaries.

You’ll work closely with the management team to develop constantly evolving service goals.


  • Ensure the Onboarding and Offboarding process of employees is seamless
  • Draft contracts and send offer letters
  • Develop and maintain confidential departmental and employee files and databases
  • Coordinate employee recruitment process, as appropriate, ensuring search documentation is accurate, consistent, and complete
  • Coordinate departmental employee relation functions in consultation with the Group Director of Human Resources / Human Resources Manager
  • Prepare and complete the monthly Human Resources report and other statistical reports as required by the Director of Human Resources / Human Resources Manager
  • Support with monthly payroll updates administration: checking worked hours, holidays, absences, overtime, lieu days, lateness, etc.
  • Responsible to ensure that all team member notice boards are kept updated e.g., new joiners, promotions, awards, engagement results etc.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with other department & employees
  • Daily communication with hotel employees and receiving their requests
  • Daily check on employee locker, changing rooms and transportation
  • Work collaboratively with all Senior Managers and Employees in enhancing operational processes

  • 1-2 years of experience working in a similar role in a hotel in Switzerland or completed commercial apprenticeship in Hospitality (EFZ) with minimum 6 months apprenticeship in an HR Department of a hotel.
  • Knowledge of Mirus is a strong advantage
  • Hands-on approach with a ‘can-do!’ work attitude
  • Ability to find creative solutions while taking ownership for all duties and tasks assigned
  • Positive, proactive outlook, hardworking and outgoing personality - and a fun-to-work-with energy at all times!
  • Swiss work permit holder or EU ID / Passport holder
