In this exciting and impactful role you will be responsible for leading the efforts to build and scale the talent development processes and the performance management initiatives across Visp. Based on Lonza’s people strategy you will establish and implement a comprehensive learning and development agenda for Leadership development - aligned with business needs and in close collaboration with Visp Site leadership team and Visp HR leadership team. You will be responsible for the change management activities to establish future oriented processes and programs and carry the conceptual accountability for the excellence of the various programs and processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Review Lonza Visp mission and vision and adapt/translate Lonza’s people strategy to tangible leadership development and change management
  • Work closely with HRLT and SLT to develop and deploy integrated talent management strategy that includes need identification, assessment, executive and leadership development
  • Apply the overall approach to Organization & Talent Review and the implementation of the OTR program in order to assure strong talent pipeline across the site
  • Partner closely with business leaders and HR LT team to ensure talent development programs are meeting the organization’s needs
  • Design, establish, implement and measure defined learning and development programs, including select the right external vendor to deliver the learning and development program
  • Support of the succession planning together with HR LT (and SLT)
  • Assess and transform performance management processes and systems that drive high performance and engagement throughout the organization
  • Acting as an internal consultant on OD and talent solutions, to build capability in business leaders and broader HR team
  • Collaborate with Visp HRLT and Visp SLT to drive change management, business and cultural transformation efforts
  • In addition, this role will support managers and HRBPs with the information, tools and training and assist with organizational design and/or change initiatives

Key requirements:

  • Ability to cater multiple stakeholders, multiple divisions/functions in a matrix organization
  • Proven experience in building strong consultative partnerships with diverse people across multiple cultures and expertise in manufacturing environment
  • Strong Talent Management knowledge and experience including Talent Review and assessment
  • Strong track record in Change Management as well as People Development and Coaching
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
  • Strong desire for continuous improvement of system and process and relationships
