An opportunity to join the Credit Suisse IWM IB Advisory team as an Associate.
The position requires a forward-thinking and dynamic professional to support our senior coverage, sector and product bankers to originate and execute M&A, capital markets and lending transactions, with a particular focus on privately owned or controlled companies in Germany and Austria.

As a part of a highly motivated team, you will help to drive our client franchise and further develop IWM’s strategy of providing ultra-high-net-worth individuals with dedicated investment banking capabilities. Your role
IWM IB Advisory offers a broad range of investment banking services to corporations, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. You will work alongside our senior coverage bankers and have exposure to senior executives and owners of a diverse set of companies. Associates assist in covering companies, work on a broad array of transactions, and get the chance to have high visibility, impact and recognition.
You will also lead and develop our junior analysts and coordinate their work on projects, develop them through delegation of responsibility, and you take an active role in training initiatives for your junior colleagues.

You offer

• You demonstrate a deep understanding of various investment banking products (M&A, DCM, ECM, LevFin etc.)
• At least 3 years’ experience in Corporate Finance/ M&A Advisory in the banking industry
• Excellent execution and project management capabilities proven by relevant projects in investment banking industry
• The ability to work fairly autonomously with limited direct supervision and are self-reliant
• To be a highly dedicated person with excellent analytical skills with the ability to work independently
• The ability to review analysis and written materials prepared by Analysts for technical excellence
• To present in a measured, clear and articulate way
• Fluency in English and German. Additional European languages are beneficial
