Automation Engineer (DeltaV & Syncade)

We are currently looking for an Automation Engineer with experience on DeltaV & Syncade systems to join our team of consultants working on a specific project for one of our Clients, a global Pharmaceutical company based in Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

30%

• Responsible for the planning, execution and documentation of manufacturing campaigns in the area of mammalian cell culture and purification.

• Leads multi-disciplinary project teams as Functional Lead for all manufacturing aspects of assigned products.

• Responsible to prepare and execute SHE (Safety, Health, environment), EM (Environmental Monitoring), operation and cleaning risk analysis for the assigned products and the implementation and control of defined measures.

• Responsible to establish timely and with high quality the required production documentation

specific to the assigned production area.

• Responsible to implement State of the art regulatory requirements in the corresponding asset and products.

• Perform manufacturing activities according to cGMP guidelines, ensuring batch execution, evaluating test results, resolving issues, troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and making recommendations for resolution

• Working as production expert in Capital investment projects for building and commissioning of the manufacturing units. Main responsible for delivering all input required for the specific set-up, commissioning and qualification of the manufacturing suites and equipment including automation.

• Responsible for the implementation of the relevant GMP documents for the respective area.

• Responsible for training of the operators for the manufacturing of the assigned products.

• Supports Operations Manager and Head Manufacturing Staff in training and planning tasks

• Represent the client’s Manufacturing unit during customer audits and visits

• Responsible for identifying and leading innovation projects as well as continuously improving ideas.

• Ensures a high level of technical and process standardization within the production plant.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering ( Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics )

• Minimum 2 years of work experience as an Automation Engineer

• Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is needed

• Experience on DeltaV & Syncade systems is required

• Great communications skills in English

• Familiarity in Data Science, Machine Learning algorithms

• Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment

• Problem-solving and analysis skills

• Team working and customer-oriented mindset

• Demonstrated ability to network, seize opportunities, communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organization, as well as to build effective teams and foster a strong collaborative culture internally and with external customers
