Proclinical is recruiting for an Automation Engineer for a Swiss multinational chemicals and biotechnology company. They are looking for an Automation Engineer who can design, implement and ensure the conformability of the mechanised production process.

Responsibilities
  • You will support and affiliate the product and production specific necessities.
  • Produce recipes in the MES / DeltaV to progress our production processes.
  • Supervising and altering recipes (under change control) during the start-up, qualification and production phase and participating in risk and process deviation analyses.
  • Guaranteeing the cGMP-compliant documentation in cooperation with the Bioprocess engineer, Plant Lead and with MSAT.
  • Constantly improving procedures and processes in compliance with the safety, hygiene, environmental and quality requirements in the area of responsibility.
This new and challenging opportunity will require the following profile:
  • Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Automation Engineer, Plant Engineer, Mechanical Engineer).
  • Expertise in the area of Bioprocess Automation (OT, DeltaV, MES Syncade).
  • Recognising risks in relation to security or compliance / Good GMP knowledge.
  • Structured, focused and well-organised work ethic.
  • Impeccable team and social skills, very good understanding of IT / process control systems.
  • Ability to communicate internally and externally at higher levels.
  • Languages: English fluent.
This is a temporary vacancy for 12 months initially with strong possibility for long term engagement with competitive hourly rates.
