Your role
Are you passionate about testing big data solutions? Do you have a curious nature, always interested in how to innovate? Do you want to support a world-leading bank and wealth manager’s quest to build a best-of-breed cash forecasting tool?
Your team
You’ll be working in the Treasury Technology team in Zurich, working primarily with local colleagues and business counterparts, but also with further colleagues in Poland and the UK. You will be part of a self-contained feature team, designing, implementing and owning the automated testing solution for a brand new Azure-based Java project. We expect the team to double in size in 2023, and this role will grow to be the senior of two automated testers, with a cross-team remit.
You will be building a new cash forecasting tool from scratch, over three years, as part of a product family owning a suite of related apps, solving this vital aspect of the bank’s day to day operations.
You role is part of the wider Group Treasury Technology, with 400 staff across the globe.
The role is in Zurich. Some office attendance is required, as agreed with your line manager and wider team.

Your expertise
You have:
– At least 5 years’ experience as an automation tester;
– Strong, demonstrable knowledge of Cucumber and Selenium/Protractor;
– Experience of setting up an automated framework from scratch;
– Experience of writing cucumber tests to capture and prove business requirements;
– Experience of integrating automation capability into the team’s workflow and CI servers;
– Knowledge of good testing practice;
– An enthusiasm for testing and a willingness to investigate best practice and keep up with industry improvements;
– Experience of working in an agile feature team alongside developers, analysts and business stakeholders;
– The capability to mentor and train newer team mates;
– (Desirable) Financial services/banking background;
You are:

– A team player, willing to “roll sleeves up”, and to challenge where required;
– A good problem solver and strong communicator;
– Self-motivated and solution-oriented;
– Fluent in English;
