To enable that growth, we’re looking for anAWS Cloud Architect to join our world-class team and help our customers gain the maximum benefits of the cloud.

What does a Cloud Architect actually do?

A Cloud Architect is an AWS expert, who acts as a technical consultant towards developers and Azure users. In addition to that, the Cloud Architect takes part in the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions and services fulfilling our customers’ needs.

At Nordcloud, you’ll find yourself participating in various projects, from fresh cloud infrastructure builds and migrations, to security implementations and Big Data or IoT projects.

What do you need to be successful in this role:

  • Hands-on AWS experience from successful projects; knowledge of AWS platform services
  • DevOps “toolkit” and attitude
  • Terraform knowledge
  • Knowledge of container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, AKS)
  • Windows server and/or Linux server administration experience
  • Good command of scripting languages (Powershell, Bash,..)
  • ARM templating know-how
  • Travel willingness up to 25%
  • Fluent English speaking skills & the right to work in the EU are required

  • Database knowledge (SQL / NoSQL)
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
  • Networking know-how
  • Knowledge of serverless computing
  • Developer background
  • Consulting experience
  • Fluent German is a plus
  • Relevant certifications are appreciated
