What does Bachelor@IBM offer you?
Within the scope of the 2-4 year Bachelor@IBM program, we offer valuable professional experiencein the area of sales, which you will gain in parallel to your studies. You can complete the bachelor study course at a university (or university of applied sciences) of your choice. The duration of studies depends on the respective university and is between two and four years. The volume of work allows you to focus sufficiently on your bachelor’s degree. Nevertheless, you can expect challenging assignments in a team-oriented and dynamic environment as well as many opportunities for active co-determination. You can also write your bachelor’s thesis in collaboration with your department.

Who are we looking for?
For our in-job bachelor’s program, we are looking for highly-motivated students who are planning to enroll or already enrolled in a bachelor study in Economics, Business or IT. If you like to work in a team, work solution oriented and independent and last but not least love to be challenged and learn something new every day then we are looking forward to receiving your application.

What can you expect from this position?
This Bachelor@IBM position as IBM Junior Sales offers you the opportunity for a great start in the trend setter company IBM. It is a position to actively learn and engage in an enterprise environment also with large Swiss and international clients.

In this role you will actively support the IBM Sales Team with specific sales and marketing initiatives. In close cooperation with our Sales and Technical Specialists you will help to identify, progress and win new client opportunities for our solutions – specifically in the area of IT solutions for Hybrid Cloud, Container and Cyber Security.

This position will offer you a great opportunity to grow your skills and relationships. You will be part of a highly motivated team embedded in a company with an excellent product and solutions portfolio which is leading edge in the market.

You get the chance to profit of expert education - for sales and technical.

The requirements for this position are:
  • A demonstrated level of business acumen as it applies to the client’s business is a critical requirement
  • Effective in teaming with IBM sales and technical sales resources
  • Strong communication and presenting skills
  • Open minded personality, positive attitude
  • Good organizational skills
  • Able to do cold calls
  • High degree of proactive engagement, initiative and creativity
  • High interest in modern IT solutions and Storage architectures
  • Fluent in German and English
This job is only for candidates who are planning to enroll or have recently started their Bachelor’s degree and have at least 2 years of study remaining (at a Swiss university/university of applied sciences, study course of your choice).
