Celonicis a privately owned Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) with four state-of-the-art sites located in Basel (Switzerland headquarters), Stein (AG, Switzerland) and Heidelberg, Germany. Celonic provides comprehensive GMP development and manufacturing services for New Biological Entities (NBEs) and Biosimilars, as well as Cell & Gene Therapy associated services worldwide.Our portfolio includes the development of cell lines and production processes, as well as non-GMP and GMP manufacturing of biopharmaceutical drug substances and drug products. Currently, there are over 500 highly qualified employees working at our sites. As the company is expanding, Celonic is looking to bring in more dedicated and qualified employees.To support our Analytical Method Development team at our Baselsite we are looking for a:Scientist with focus on Immuno- and Bioassays (m/f/d)Your Area Of Responsibility
  • Design and perform Bioassay/CBA experiments during analytical development
  • Preparation of SOPs and forms, data analysis, support of documents/reports writing and reviewing
  • Point of contact for immuno-& bioassays for internal customers
  • Analysis and data compilation, as well as presenting findings to the department, project team or customer
  • Planning, documentation and execution of method transfers from non-GMP to GMP (QC)
  • Coaching and training of employees as well as technical support during the implementation of methods for routine analysis
  • Support optimisation, characterisation and validation of methods according to international guidelines
  • Contribute to new technology evaluation and implementation
Your skills & qualifications:
  • Experienced in mammalian cell culture-based assay and ELISA assay development
  • Knowledge of data analysis and interpretation
  • Capable of delivering high-quality documents in English
  • First experience in performing analytical method qualification/validation is desired
  • Basic knowledge of relevant guidelines (ICH, EMA, FDA) is a plus
  • Flexible and solution-focused with strong operational, organisational and documentation skills
  • Strong team player with a hands-on working style
