The Company’s versatile platform aims to leverage breakthrough science and expertise at the interface of genetic medicine, synthetic biology and nanoparticle engineering to generate a pipeline of advanced gene therapies with unique competitive advantages over current viral-vector based gene therapies.Currently headquartered at Biotechnopark in Zurich, Switzerland, Anjarium Biosciences is rapidly expanding its team and is looking for a biology lab manager.

Tasks
  • Perform lab tasks as needed including reagent and media prep, equipment maintenance, monitoring and calibration
  • Occasionally assist with and execute molecular biology experiments
  • Organize ordering, receiving, shipping and tracking of laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Oversee all equipment’s and instruments’ function correctly, tracking/performing equipment calibrations and preventative maintenance
  • Support sample management as well as establishing and maintaining an inventory system for reagents, supplies, and equipment
  • Develops, updates and assists with the enforcement of laboratory policies and procedures; coordinates the development and implementation of laboratory safety and care standards
Requirements
  • BSc or Laboratory technician diploma with 3-5 years of lab management in cell biology, immunology, molecular biology or related field within industry setting
  • Ability to multitask among multiple projects and teams and work independently in a fast-paced, highly interactive environment
  • Experience with Biosafety Level 2 laboratory environment a plus
  • Experience with mammalian tissue culture preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the proven ability to build open and collaborative relationships and work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
