Since the legend’s reincarnation in 1994, A. Lange & Söhne has been one of the most respected and successful watch brands in the luxury sector. Our whole aim is to continue our tradition with new, outstanding products, very much in keeping with Lange’s claim: State-of-the-art tradition. What we expect from our watches, we expect from us: Never stand still.

MAIN PURPOSE
  • Lange & Söhne has launched its first Showroom worldwide in Geneva mid-2021. This project, fully in line with the New Retail approach from Richemont aims at serving clients via multiple touchpoints, both on-line and off-line.
In this newly created role, you will hold the following responsibilities and offer our clients an exclusive customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

Sales
  • Participate in the achievement of showroom sales budgets in accordance with brand retail strategy
  • Interact with a network of high level clients with strong watchmaking knowledge
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses in this new project and ameliorate processes
  • Monitor market trends, competitor environment
  • Be the backup of the showroom Manager
Store operations management
  • Actively taking part in monthly (quarterly, yearly) stocktaking and quality control
  • Ensuring stock quality and merchandising in close contact with the Manufacture
  • Ensuring stock maintenance when necessary: organize changing of straps, polishing, servicing, etc.
  • Compliance with procedures, legal, fiscal and customs regulations.
  • Make use of the tools at disposal (SAP, ICM, DARE, etc) to ensure a smooth functioning of the operations
  • Mastering dealing with credit card transaction of considerable amounts, Cash Register, etc.
  • Ensure timely reporting of any opportunity or threats to the Boutique Manager
  • Carrying out administrative tasks such as finance follow-up, procedures
  • Ensure attention to existing clients and prospects database for boutique sales and marketing activities
Requirements
  • You hold a Bachelor or Master degree and have ideally a first retail or backoffice experience
  • You are at ease with digital tools with a good understanding of online marketing topics (e-Commerce, Social media, e-CRM, e-merchandising…)
  • You have a strong commercial and organizational mindset, comfortable with administrative tasks and eager to learn
  • You have a commercial mindset and feel comfortable interacting with a very high-end clientele
  • You are open to regularly work on Saturdays and travel within Switzerland
  • You are fluent in French and English. German is a plus
