Role insight

Reporting to the Country Manager you will be responsible for the stock control and distribution of all watches arriving at the boutique/office.

The successful applicant will have a proactive and process driven approach with an eye for detail and strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Ensure proper movement of product in/out including (shipments, transfers, consignments while maintaining quality control and preventing stock losses)
  • Assist with inventory control processess (e.g., daily/weekly/monthly counts and stock movements) to ensure a successful inventory. (Stock Audits & Daily Stock Counts)
  • Movement of watches to other Watchfinder markets
  • Co-ordination with other Watchfinder markets on the movement of sold watches
  • Distribution of watches to our international customers
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant customs regimes
  • Ensure the status of all watches dispatched is up to date on our internal stock management system
  • Liaise with members of staff to keep them up to date with due dates, delays etc
  • Identify and deal proactively with any delays or problems that may arise
  • Office administration: vendors and POs creations (SAP)

About You ...

  • Proven experience in an operational or logistics environment
  • Full proficiency in French and English
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to adhere to company standards
  • Commercial astute, understand the principles of customer service
  • Methodical approach to work
  • Able to communicate effectively over the phone, via email and face-to-face
  • Vigilant, ability to identify problems before they arise. This should be dealt with in a quick and professional manner and not to delay customers on updates
  • Conscientious, someone who understands customer requirements and has worked in a customer focused role
  • Ability to multi-task and enjoy working within a busy environment
  • Able to follow procedures and processes
