Vogue International, a Johnson & Johnson Company, is recruiting for a Brand Manager, Global Marketing, located in Zug, Switzerland.
Vogue International, a Johnson & Johnson Company, is an innovative consumer products business that distributes and markets pioneering hair care products around the globe. These brands represent an innovative hair care business that is new to our Consumer Family of Companies and focused on the marketing, development, and distribution of salon-influenced and nature-inspired products. With several strong brands among its portfolio, including OGX®, MAUI MOISTURE®, AVEENO®, NEUTROGENA®, the Vogue business is the cornerstone of Johnson & Johnson Consumer’s hair care operations. Vogue International products are sold in more than 40 countries.
The Brand Manager, Global Marketing will be a member of the Global Franchise Squad and will report into the Senior Manager of Global Marketing that is based in Clearwater, Florida. With an outstanding world-wide view of the hair care category and its consumers, this newly created position will lead powering-up our annual in-market impact by driving marketing excellence and winning with consumers by elevating the science and superiority of our core brands (OGX and MAUI MOISTURE). This role will also collaborate with the Australia and New Zealand marketing lead to accelerate growth in those markets by supporting their annual marketing mix strategy. The Responsibilities & The Impact YOU Will Have
Elevating science & superiority of our brands, OGX and MAUI MOISTURE
- Develop outstanding global marketing communication assets, mostly claims and product demos in close collaboration with a core team of cross-functional partners with the objective to drive brand preference and improve brand equity; to increase brand relevance, quality, penetration and ultimately drive market share.
- Work closely with key markets to continuously assess the external market and landscape to import most up-to-date insights, trends, and practices across communication platforms and assets.
- Partners with cross-functional peers to unlock new and relevant consumer-facing claims, product demos, and messages.
- Crafts programs to strengthen and measure ratings & reviews globally.
- Builds and champions conduits and platforms to scale global marketing excellence across key markets (meetings, digital sharing channels, etc.).
- Seeks high return on investment demand generation opportunities for accelerated global growth.
- Extract maximum value from the global ecosystem of agencies, assets, vendors, and market/data intelligence. Individual will own the selection and management of global vendors and agencies including budget, contracts, and invoicing.
- Partner with market insights team to develop measurement plans and scorecards of communication and activation campaigns seeking continuous optimization.
- Collaborates closely during annual budget planning to ensure marketing mix support and strategies are in place to deliver against plans.
- Follows closely in-market performance and marketing mix throughout the year to ensure delivery of business plans and provides recommended actions and support as needed
We would love to hear from YOU, if you have:
- University degree is required, an MBA is preferred
- Minimum 6 years of brand marketing and communication asset development experience is required
- Prior experience in fast-moving-consumer-goods is required
- Experience developing, leading, and implementing campaigns is required
- Experience handling content development for web/social/e-commerce is preferred
- Insightful and creative professional
- The ability to collaborate in cross-functional and virtual team environment is required
- Can balance multiple priorities and partner with multiple collaborators
- Problem solver, demonstrating an outcomes-oriented approach in ambiguous environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Position may require up to 10% domestic and global travel
