Your field of responsibility


An interesting role as a Business Analyst in the Basel 3 finalization context, involving the analysis of regulatory texts from various regulators and translation of these texts into business and IT requirements. You will play a key role in eliciting requirements and defining innovative solutions to problems.
Later on, you will also support the technical implementation into our IT systems and the operational calculation of parameters under the standardized, the Foundation IRB as well as the Advanced IRB approach.
You will take over a challenging role in a dynamic regulatory environment. Basel 3f is a high-profile program that significantly impacts the bank’s RWA and Capital ratios.
You have the opportunity to take over a non-routine job that you can help to shape according to your skills and abilities.
In this position you have exposure across all banking divisions and regular contact with credit risk officers, front organization, IT, and Finance teams in the US, India, Switzerland, and EU countries. You will be coordinating between these groups to make sure the regulatory requirements are understood by all the stakeholders and are correctly implemented.

Your skills and experience


You have previous experience as a business analyst / consultant in a similar environment, embedding new processes and systems in complex organizations to ensure successful deliveries combined with good analytical and problem solving skills.
The key asset for this role would be familiarity with the analysis of regulatory texts (e.g. IRB, EBA guidelines on LGD and PD estimation, or similar) and capability to perform a thorough gap analysis based on these texts. Additionally you bring the following requirements:


  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or similar with several years of work experience in the finance sector
  • Ideally, you have a good understanding of Credit Risk Management and the metrics that are used to measure these risks
  • Some experience with coordinating IT implementation projects and the ability to work on multiple tasks in a non-routine environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as fluent English language skills, German is a plus
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
