The Janssen Supply Chain Group, a member of the Johnson & Johnson companies, is recruiting for a Lab systems, business application owner reporting into QC Operations. Position can be based in any of our Operating Companies, flexibility is required to support the activities across different timezones in APAC, Europe and NA/LATAM.

Principle Responsibilities

The position will play a key role in the deployment and maintenance of the digitalization/automation project for the J&J labs. The laboratory mission is to increase lab reliability through automation of processes and reduction in manual transcription of data, improved electronic control and data capture, delivering data integrity and efficiency value using global lab systems.

Main responsibility for the position is to support the different Lab Systems (e.g. Empower, SmartQC/QA):
  • Captures requirements from the site as applicable
  • Supports/leads innovation projects for related systems
  • Identify areas for improvement, either at the system level, either in the business process
  • Drives and leads standardization discussions related to business processes linked to system usage
  • Acts as a single point of contact across JSCQ sites.
  • Leads user forums and meetings as the need arises
  • Supports system qualification activities when applicable
  • Leads site implementations as needed
  • Owns system compliance / change control / Data integrity

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree required, Physical / Life Science, IT focus preferred. An advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of related experience including at least one of the following: Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Analytical Testing, or systems, including experience working in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry.
  • Strong communication and customer approach.
  • Strong problem solving, logical thinking and troubleshooting skills.

List Job Specific Competencies/Skills Required
  • Broad knowledge and experience with cGMPs, regulations, risk management and Computer System Validation. Previous Quality Systems experience desirable.
  • Ability to independently lead multiple issues, prioritize and bring up to management when appropriate.
  • Ability to develop training and deliver to colleagues and partners.
  • Knowledge of/familiarity with the appropriate Laboratory System (eLIMS)
  • Proficient in English.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to build and develop strong, positive relationships with customers and partners in Global Quality Systems, R&D, IT and other Quality functional groups required.
  • Experience in applying TrackWise, qTest, TruVault, Asset Management systems, a plus.
  • Experience with data reporting and analytics. Developing & qualifying reports and dashboards using reporting tools (i.e. Tableau, Spotfire)
