Your responsibilities:
  • Ensure robust business continuity plans are in place that are regularly reviewed, updated and tested
  • Actively plan ahead for foreseeable risks to the operational continuity of the Group
  • Support a Crisis Management team in the event of a disaster situation
  • Regularly review existing systems and processes to implement efficiencies and improvements in line with business growth and direction
  • Assist in the development of recovery strategies on behalf of the global entities
  • Deliver advice to the business in a practical and commercially focused way in relation to business continuity planning and any relevant matters that reduce risk, resolve issues and maximise the opportunity for the operating entity to deliver on its goals
  • Build and maintain close links with peers, key internal and external stakeholders, working with the business and other functions to share information, identify risks and deliver business growth
  • Act as a key member of the team, positively contributing to making decisions to ensure the business is protected in any disaster situation
  • Work collaboratively and maintain regular communication with peers across the operating entity and the wider Group to ensure consistency in approach and promotion of best practice and facilitate efficient operational workflow and enhanced sharing of knowledge and information where applicable
  • Remain aware of external, industry, legal and regulatory developments etc. to ensure practices and outputs are of a sufficiently high standard
  • Conduct regular external analysis and attend external forums etc. to remain aware of industry developments and ensure practices and outputs are in line with best practice

Your profile:
  • You have at least 3 years of work or internship experience in business continuity (ideally in industry)
  • You are experienced working with ISO 22301
  • You are able to communicate to high-ranking members in the organization (Board Members, Management and Country Directors)
  • You speak fluently English. French or German would be a plus
  • ISO 22301 (Lead) Auditor or (Lead) Implementer certification, training or education is highly appreciated
