An exciting Business Controller role has just become available at one of the well-known food FMCG companies. This role will report into the regional General Manager.

This role is based in the Greater Zurich area, Switzerland.

About the Business Controller role:

This new role within the company is focused on driving the preparation and analysis of the monthly results as well as manage other reporting/commercial activities. Support on the financial planning during the budget and latest estimate cycles will also be needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support towards the commercial organization starting from clear and accurate analysis and in the daily BI and SAP applications
  • Develop, manage and improve the (E-commerce) commercial & management reporting, as well as the budgeting, LE & forecasting process
  • Make commercial analysis per product category, customer segment, channel for the different brands
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager and Account Managers on the sales variance analysis and identify opportunities
  • Manage the yearly budget process and coordinate the financial planning cycle together with the General Manager

To succeed in the role of Business Controller you will need to have a strong commercial acumen and be able to work independently and with different internal stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Masters degree
  • Min. 1-2 years of experience in accounting/finance/controlling in medium to big size companies or an experience from the Big 4
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Very good knowledge of Excel and experience with SAP / COPA / BI is an advantage
  • Analytical and entrepreneurial spirit
