Business Data Analyst - Senior IT Manager (m/f)

Location - Geneva

As a Senior Business Data Analyst at P&G, you are a business leader from day one and in this senior role you will be responsible for a team, directing insight programs across Europe: you need to be an effective communicator, self-motivated, and able to convert insights into actions that improve P&G’s business results. You’ll need to mine terabytes of data, derive meaningful insights, and translate complex outputs or algorithms into simple conclusions that will empower others to take action to win with consumers.

You will be the primary evangelist in P&G for the power of predictive analysis and develop business cases to illustrate the "step-change" in decision-making that occurs when you anticipate what will happen, not just reflect on the past. Business expertise and interpersonal skills are therefore a must to thrive in your place in a multi-functional leadership team. Your responsibilities are innovative, challenging, and business focused.

As a P&G Senior Business Data Analyst professional you will:

• Deliver insights across several business domains (marketing, sales, supply chain, etc.) with a combination of modelling / analytical skills, data management and business insight.

• Use data visualization, and analytic tools to create the business building insights in mountains of data

Qualifications

We are looking for:

• Strong professional experience in the subject area of Data Analytics
  
• People management experience, able to mentor and lead
  
• Experience in the application of Machine Learning to real-world problems
  
• Strong analytical skills and an analytical problem solver
  
• Can then tell the story that explains the discovery, excite the audience and turn recommendations into reality
  
• A leader: you envision how things can get better, set the direction, enrol others to get there and energize others until your vision becomes reality.
  
• Strong creativity to find that unique viewpoint to tackle problems.
  
• Strong ability to contribute and influence across levels and functions
  
• Ability to learn and master new tools / programming languages quickly.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills which influence others to take action
  
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects with a sense of urgency
  
• Comfortable with ambiguous scenarios and possess strong problem-solving skills with a "can-do" attitude
  
• Strong leadership skills (envisioning, empowering, influencing)
  
• English language proficiency and at least a Bachelor level degree in preferred disciplines to include Business Information Systems, Systems/Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Software Development, Operations Research and Statistics

IT skills required:

• Data ecosystems:, MapReduce or similar
  
• Data ecosystems: Hadoop, Data Bricks, Spark, Hive , MapReduce or similar
  
• Programming: SQL, Python, R, C++, Java, Scala or similar
  
• Data Visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire or similar
  
• Data transformation tools: such as Alteryx , KNIME , RapidMiner or similar
