Business Development Manager - Cosmetics & Personal Care 100%

Your mission:

Your Mission is to develop a clear sales strategy and execute this strategy to drive accelerated global sales of our cosmetic and personal care ingredient portfolio

  • Develop a strong understanding of our products, our customer’s needs and buying decisions
  • Develop a sales strategy for Direct Customers with the goal to increase the customer base and drive sales globally
  • Implement this strategy to drive significant revenue growth for Evolva’s cosmetic ingredients portfolio and finished products
  • Work closely with other sales and Marketing in executing a holistic go-to-market strategy for our cosmetic portfolio to offer our complete portfolio of products
  • Identify new prospects, develop them into sales opportunities and secure purchase orders
  • Account management of global existing direct customers and distributors
  • Accurately forecast future sales for customers
  • Own and hit sales targets within assigned accounts
  • Help our Customer Support team follow up on sales leads generated by trade shows and lead generation activities,
  • Keep up to date on trends in the relevant markets, including competitive ingredients, formulation trends and consumer needs
  • Participate in trade shows to develop relationships with customers and source new prospects

Your profile:

  • At least 5 years of B2B ingredient and/or finished product sales experience in the cosmetic and personal care sector
  • Ideally a technical or science background, preferably in chemistry, cosmetic science or biochemistry.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive, long-lasting customer relationships
  • A strong ability to drive sales and deliver purchase orders is essential
  • A willingness to travel in this role to attend trade shows and make customer visits
  • Experience of managing customer accounts using a CRM system.
  • An ability to excel under pressure, learn fast and to be able to take the initiative is important for this role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluent English speaking
  • Proven experience of driving ingredient and/or finished product sales not just in a single country but across a geographical region (EMEA, APAC) is desired
  • Bringing with you a strong network of industry connections would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of other languages is an advantage
  • Team Builder experienced to work in matrix organization
