We are looking for Business Development Manager Digital Services that comes with an entrepreneurial and creative approach to developing new business opportunities and innovative ideas to win market share. What You’ll Do
  • Secure revenue for Digital Services in assigned territory by actively building and executing on a pipeline of equipment data connectivity sales opportunities. Planning, development, implementation and follow up of sales and activity plans with key stakeholders.
  • Sales Tactics - Interlock with account managers, BioProcess and the Cell & Gene Therapy businesses in order to shift selling equipment data connectivity from back-end to primary sales opportunities. Work closely with regional Services Sales teams to increase the value of contractual services to Cytiva customers by promoting OptiRun Connect, cloud-based equipment health monitoring.
  • Sales Execution – Build and grow pipeline of opportunities. Own commercial negotiations and convert opportunities into deals in order to achieve OP targets in assigned territory. Prospect and identify new opportunities within existing accounts. Qualify potential leads.
  • Identify key technical trends that increase value of digital solutions to Cytiva’s Lab & Research, Bioprocess and Cell & Gene Therapy customers.
  • Be the ambassador of Digital Services in front of customer and within Cytiva organization. Promote value engineering and consultative selling.
Who You Are
  • True sales professional with proven track record of digital technology sales success, developing, organizing and implementing sales plans, meeting and exceeding sales targets, lead qualification, sales and negotiations, preferably in Process industry, and/or Services organization
  • University degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, alternatively 10+ years active hands-on experience in delivering Software Engineering or Networking services to Life-Sciences and/or chemical industry
  • Demonstrated selling skills, analytical skills and Life Sciences industry acumen
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting towards meeting established objectives. Strong influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as project management skills.
  • Willingness to regular travel according to business needs (min 50% of your time)
  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written) paired up with passion and ability to work in a multi-culture working environment
