Business Development Manager - Health Ingredients 100%

Your mission:

Your Mission is to develop a clear sales strategy and execute this strategy to drive accelerated growth of our health ingredients to the dietary supplements and functional food & beverages customers

  • Identify new prospects, develop them into potential sales opportunities and secure purchase orders
  • Account management of global existing direct customers
  • Accurately forecast future sales for customers
  • Own and hit sales targets within assigned accounts
  • Build and maintain positive, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Help our Customer Support team follow up on sales leads generated by trade shows and lead generation activities
  • Develop a strong understanding of our products, our customer’s needs and buying decisions
  • Keep up to date on trends in the relevant markets, including competitive ingredients, formulation trends and consumer needs
  • Participate in trade shows to develop relationships with customers and source new prospects

Your profile:

  • At least 5 years of B2B ingredient sales experience in one of the following sectors: nutraceuticals, foods and/or beverages
  • Technical or science background, preferably in biochemistry, pharmacy or nutrition
  • You are a self-starter, organized, willing to take ownership and go the extra mile
  • You have a great sense of teamwork and are motivated to work in a small but multinational organization
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You are able to excel under pressure, are a fast learner and willing to take the initiative
  • You have a strong ability to drive sales and deliver purchase orders
  • Willingness to travel to trade shows and make customer visits

Your further have:

  • Experience of managing customer accounts using a CRM
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent fluent English speaking skills, any other language is an asset
  • Proven experience of driving sales not just in a single country but across a geographical region (EMEA, APAC) is desired
  • Bringing with you a strong network of industry connections would be an advantage
