Job Description:

JOB PURPOSE:To develop and provide functional customer support, problem identification and resolution for IT solutions and to develop business transformation processes. Assists in the development of detailed system specifications, integration and implementation projects. Applies systems solutions to business/technical problems through customer interactions, integration/implementation of automated information technology systems and components. Scrum Master on multiple IT projects.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Lead improvement projects of functional support processes as Scrum Master without close supervision

  • Act as team leader for development and support groups

  • Maintain high visibility to end-users with the goal to consult on process options and head off potential IT solution problems.

  • Gather document and maintain business procedures and guidelines

  • Define documentation and procedures for business unit personnel to be fully effective in both existing and future systems and applications.

  • Support legacy solutions while defining processes and migration to future initiatives.

  • Provide support in developing systems strategy, consulting, gathering requirements, creating and presenting system change requests, development, testing and training.

  • Communicate and escalation of top priority issues to management

The Business Analyst III role requires good project management skills using Agile methodology . Additionally, incumbent is involved in solution design workshops, with valued contribution and responsibility or accountability for the final solution. This role has responsibility to update or develop process documents, along with assisting others in the maintenance of process documents.

Problems and issues faced by this position have a variety of interpretations and require careful evaluation and reference to a large number of options. Position involves understanding and taking initiative with problems or situations that are unique or may significantly affect business results. Incumbent knows what results must be achieved and must decide how to go about achieving those results. Incumbent may need to develop new procedures and/or concepts to get as well as s strong focus on Lean and innovation.

Beyond the completion of their own work, the incumbent may assign and review the day-to-day work of external consultants. The incumbent may teach, counsel, and advise others as part of this assignment.

Required Qualifications

  • At least Bachelor’s degree (preferably in computer science, information systems, marketing, communications, engineering or related field)

  • 2+ years of experience with the Agile methodology (any role)

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and persuade others to resolve problems or address issues.

  • Demonstrated ability to listen to others and to develop mutual understanding

  • Strong accountability planning/organization and teamwork

  • Good business acumen with direct project management experience

  • Good oral and written communication skills

Top candidates will also possess these Qualifications

  • Agile certifications (SAFe® 4)

  • Experience managing projects using Agile software tools (for example MS Azure DevOps)

  • Experience working with offshore team

  • Experience working with Dealer facing application

  • Experience with functional and end-user testing
