Your assignment
  • Act as Global Business Process Owner of common procurement processes. Define and select the procurement processes and tools that will become the standard processes and tools to be used group-wide.
  • Harmonize procurement master data and procurement business processes
  • Develop a digital Roadmap for Procurement (together with the Business Units and Corporate IT)
  • Coordinate documentation of best practices and develop a competence building capability (such as e-learning tools, class room training, other training methods)
  • Provide and maintain spend transparency and analytics by implementing and maintaining a spend cube to contain all external spend
  • Provide and maintain a spend hierarchy (also called taxonomy) that will be applied for all spend
Your background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or comparable qualification; project management certification is a plus.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in managing procurement business processes, preferably in an international environment and 5 years’ experience in working with SAP and other e-Procurement systems. Excellent knowledge of procurement, supply chain, and finance processes. Solid project management skills and good knowledge of Lean and/or 6Sigma principles.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and change management skills. Efficient, proactive and creative working methodology. Analytically strong and able to prioritize under pressure and manage multiple projects.
  • Self-driven, diligent, solution oriented and highly resilient when facing hurdles.
  • Strong communicator with a convincing personality, team orientation, stakeholder management competence and intercultural experience.
  • High willingness to travel.
