Job Description

Reporting to the Europe Alliance Manager, The Business Support Manager, Consumer Health role will develop and lead processes that drive Commercial Vision, Sales Excellence and Marketing Excellence in the Global Consumer Health Market.

She/He will support the Europe Alliance team to ensure consistent delivery of business objectives through high-quality Business Operations by collaborating with multiple stakeholders such as Country Leads, Marketing and Commercial Leaders. This role will participate in strategy development and be responsible for implementation of Consumer Health Operations initiatives.

The Business Support Manager will be involved in strategic projects which will build on their existing skillset and provide opportunities for further development.

This is a role with global responsibilities. As such, the incumbent may be required to adjust their work schedule to accommodate other countries / time zones. Up to 50% of work could be conducted in a remote office environment and some travel may be required (up to 50%).

Key Responsibilities
  • Tracking business results, performing cost-benefit analyses. Monitor financial data and recommend solutions that will improve profitability.
  • Facilitate a culture of planning and project management, using consistent tools and approaches, ensure that work is tracked, prioritize effectively.
  • Play a key role in the preparation of and during the Business Reviews & Budget process.
  • Generate and communicate strategic insight by:
  • Conducting analysis on relevant Key Performance Indicators and metrics.
  • Undertaking analytics on market activity. Assessing the effectiveness of targeting, effort allocation, employees’ size, structure, and alignments.
  • Analysing reporting systems and internal/external data sources as appropriate and providing access to this information via dashboards and other Marketing tools.
  • Responding to queries from business partners
  • Be a Strategic Partner to the Central teams and actively participate in their team meetings as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required, preferred Masters/advanced degree.
  • 5 to 12 years’ experience in administrative role reporting directly to upper management.
  • Experience developing internal processes and filing systems.
  • Experience overseeing budgets and expenses.
  • Experience in running/ coordinating projects with Marketing.
  • Preferred Experience in reporting and data analysis for high management and presentation preparation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems. Excel knowledge is a must.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required, E.g., Sales and Marketing. Preferred Master Business Administration.
  • At least 10 years of experience in finance, market research, business operations and analytics.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical and Consumer industry.
  • Financial acumen
  • Project management.
  • Ability to translate data into insights.
  • Proven experience with reporting systems, alignment, and analytical applications.
