We OfferYour program’s highlightsOur Career Start Program offers an ideal platform for graduates who want to experience life at the heart of the financial services industry. You start your main assignment in your business area and rotate to another department for 4-6 months so you can experience different positions, gain insight into a broad spectrum of roles, build new skills and develop crucial networks across the bank. The program offers a combination of practical experience, shadowing days, structured on- and off-the-job training, stimulating challenges and evaluation activities. You benefit from the opportunity to seamlessly transfer to an exciting junior position after your Career Start Program.Start date: November/ December 2022Duration: 12-18 monthsAcademic requirements:Recently completed bachelor’s, master’s or PhD degree from a university or university of applied sciencesYour field of responsibilityYou support the Fixed Income Business Management Team in various project, operational, control and management related tasks to gain a broad insight into the CSAM Fixed Income businessProjects include the setup of a Fixed Income Research team, introduction of new processes for our ESG fund offering or the introduction of a new system for our Currency Solution businessOn the operational, control and management support side, task will include measurement of Research data and data quality in the Blackrock Aladdin system, NNA planning, support the launch of new products, preparation of team updates and Fixed Income senior management meetingsAfter a 6-9 month period, you will be transitioning into the growing Fixed Income Research team to support the Research Analysts in the bottom-up strategy definition, develop you own expertise in an assigned Fixed Income sector and with the goal to become a Fixed income analyst at the end of the Career Start programThe role offers a great opportunity to start your career in a Fixed Income Asset Management business, gaining a broad insight into how the business works, what systems and tools are used and with a clear development goal to become a Fixed Income Analyst at the end of the programYou OfferYour Qualifications And SkillsAre you the perfect fit for this role?   • Recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences
  • Degree in Finance (or equivalent) or a degree from a bank apprenticeship in combination with a respective practical experience. Ambition to gain a CFA, CAIIA or similar designation in due time
  • A solid knowledge of Financial Market instruments with a focus on Fixed Income
  • Fluent English language skills with German skills being a plus
  • Expert knowledge in MS Office products with Bloomberg, Blackrock Aladdin and financial programming knowledge being a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong collaborative relationships
  • Having an open minded, courageous, respectful, and positive attitude to make a difference
  • Ambition to start a career in Fixed Income
