Swiss WorldCargo Accounting is responsible for the complete and timely invoicing of all mail and cargo we transport around the globe. You will learn a lot about different ways of work in other parts of the world through your many daily international contacts.

Tasks

Initially your focus will be on billing in North and South America, in close cooperation with NYC based colleague. Further development will be your full integration in a team responsible for worldwide invoicing.

On the job, you will learn how to:
Make sure that our service provider in Mumbai issues our invoices as expected.
Identify differences between what we invoice and what customer settles, and make sure we solve these differences.
Design, implement, review and maintain processes.
Participate in meetings, defend your point of view and convince
Get in depth knowledge of our specific IT systems: (CargoSpot, SwissWorx, Caris …)

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in area of economic administration or equivalent through experience, with 5+ years’ work experience
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
Openness to liaise with a variety of internal and external customers
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Teams and MS Word)
Very good spoken and written German and English skills
Attitude to work independently and meet deadlines
Structured and result driven: bring theory to practice
Good communicator, able to stand up and defend point of view in discussions and meetings.
Willing to travel occasionally
