What You Will Do

Our Procurement EMEALA Team is looking for a procurement professional who will be responsible for developing and executing regional category strategies related to Direct materials.

How Will You Do It
  • Provide strategic procurement programs that leverage the operations of Johnson Controls with measurable financial results on global basis.
  • Develop and executes category strategies designed to improve business process efficiency
  • Support regional procurement (EMEALA) teams
  • Maintain relationship with suppliers
  • Work effectively with all business units’ leaders globally to ensure alignment of the global strategy
  • Develop business review format and common scorecard to evaluate ongoing performance
  • Understand market trends and regulation changes
  • Stay informed of any changes or updates on laws, tariffs, commodity classifications and regulations
What we look for

Required
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in procurement roles in direct materials
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze and learn cost structure models in many different regions
  • Strong negotiations skills
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in English language, written and spoken
  • Proven supply chain management experience
Preferred
  • Experience working with Electrical & Electronical Products
  • Bachelor or master’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
