Channels Operations and Compliance Manager

Our Marketing and Sales (M&S) teams play a key role in how ABB’s technologies contribute to a more productive and sustainable future. Helping customers all over the world improve efficiency, reliability and productivity while reducing emissions gives our work a powerful sense of purpose. Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing and Sales Robotics & Discrete Automation (RA), you will contribute in global projects, define clear guidance for the M&S team and drive the global implementation of the RA channel framework.

Your responsibilities

  • Strategy: Responsible for the global implementation of the Robotics & Discrete Automation (RA) channel framework and practices. Including the process enhancement and deployment, compliance scrutiny and monitoring and secure channel master data quality.
  • Sales Processes and tools: Support a proper implementation and communication of the channel processes. Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency.
  • Contracts administration: define and deploy clear guidelines for the M&S organization on how to draft, manage, store and negotiate channel contracts. Define and deploy best practices and guidelines.
  • Project management: Coordinate and oversee development and standardized process development to continually improve effectiveness of global and local project execution teams.
  • Master Data: Define and deploy efficient processes for Channels Products, Customers and Commercial Master Data.
  • Standards and governance: Implement and ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes and share best practices and lessons learned across the organization, notably on Channel Partners onboarding and monitoring.
  • People leadership and development: Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed. Build an effective, capable and high performing network.

Your background

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in BA, Marketing or Sales. Any similar educational background with an MBA would also work
  • Minimum 5+ years spent in sales and/or sales support area, contract management, finance / accounting
  • Motivated self-starter, with a keen interest in developing and implementing best practices and innovative solutions
  • Good command of English is mandatory
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Good ERP and CRM knowledge
  • Strong personal leadership
  • Good presentation ( oral and written) skills
