Your role

The Product Chapter Lead Advanced Payment Solutions is required to manage a team of Product Managers in the Transferring Money Crew within Personal & Corporate Banking - COO UBS Switzerland. In addition, the successful candidate will also work as a Product Manager in the International Payments & Collections Pod within this crew.

We’re looking for a Chapter Lead to:
  • act as people and development manager to Product Managers and Product Owners, be a mentor supporting growth and career progression and ensure high standards of product expertise is applied across the delivery crews
  • support and enable the chapter with new / emerging practices, learning opportunities and capability building
  • connect chapters to the wider UBS community of guilds, engage as thought and action leader beyond the borders of the crew
  • work with Crew Leads and Agile coaches to understand and resolve challenges, opportunities and areas of collaboration
  • support the broader strategy and goals of their organization to ensure chapter members are equipped to understand in their context
  • drive new products and product changes iteratively and continuously together with cross-functional team members in the International Payments & Collections pod
  • actively manage existing products such as SWIFT gpi and ensure quality, compliance and service levels are always met

Your team

You’ll be working in the Transferring Money Crew in Zurich. Your chapter will be a group of Product Managers, who will be working across three Pods delivering change across the Transferring Money Crew within Personal & Corporate Banking – COO UBS Switzerland.

Your expertise

  • strong servant leader who can garner respect from individuals, puts their needs first, and with a strong attitude of transparency and collaboration
  • passionate to develop themselves and their team in order to realize the full potential of the team
  • track record of delivering transformation and change projects for a demanding set of stakeholders
  • extensive experience of working and delivering change within an agile framework
  • experience in digital projects, strategy/consulting or program management. Ideally including extensive experience interfacing with stakeholders in IT, especially around analytics and big data
  • Experience with payments & foreign exchange products is of advantage, but can also be learned on the job.
  • very good conceptual skills. Ability to build comprehensive and coherent frameworks. Able to communicate clearly and simplify complex phenomena.
  • good understanding of program management and project implementation methodologies
  • good interpersonal skills across seniority levels, ability to successfully influence and align stakeholders
  • good skills in Microsoft Office, ideally also project management tools
