We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer with a background in Clinical Operations to join our rapidly growing pharmaceutical company based in Switzerland. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who wants to work for a company that is dedicated to improving the lives of patients through the development of innovative treatments for Oncology. As the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s Clinical Operations team, ensuring the successful execution of clinical trials from planning to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance & Procurement to ensure seamless collaboration and execution of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Clinical Operations function, providing direction and guidance to ensure successful execution of clinical trials.
  • Develop and implement clinical development strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Responsible for procurement, selection and oversight of vendors such as CROs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical investigators and contract research organizations.
  • Ensure clinical trial protocols comply with applicable regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
  • Develop and implement processes to streamline clinical operations and increase efficiency.
  • Participate in the development of company-wide strategic plans and objectives.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in a scientific field or related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in clinical operations in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of successful clinical trial execution.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines for clinical trials.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
This is a temporary to permanent contract where you will become part of the permanent headcount after 6 months. Given the size of the company there will be office presence needed.
