What to expect
  • Effectively run the Company risk management system
  • Contribute to designing and implementing the evolution of the Company risk management system by continuously deploying best practice approaches and methodologies
  • Verify the adequacy and effectiveness of the measures taken to remedy the deficiencies found in the Company’s risk management system
  • Provide the identification, measurement, control and management of the risks related to the Company’s activities, processes and systems, in compliance with the criteria set out in applicable laws, regulations and best practices as well as the risk profile defined by the Supervisory Board
  • Develop constructive relationship through effective communication with the relevant authorities, the Supervisory Board and the delegated managers
  • Run the local risk function, embedding risk related Group policies, guidelines and operating procedures at Company level
  • Participate and bring risk views into Company business processes, in accordance with the relevant processes and guidelines
  • Report risk results and risk related reports to the Supervisory Board and to Generali Asset & Wealth Management CRO
The skills you’ll bring
  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Math, Physics - MBA is a plus
  • 10+ of experience in managerial role within the investment management, asset management or banking industry either in risk or investment functions, possibly in a multinational, multi-location, multi-company environment
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management of traditional asset classes (equities, bonds, derivatives incl. OTC)
  • Good knowledge of ESG investment fund methodology
  • Good knowledge of asset management related to Swiss Pension Schemes
  • Knowledge of Switzerland local law
  • Well-developed organizational and communication skills, flexibility, ability to deal with different departments within the organizational framework
  • Fluency and proficiency in English and German is essential, Italian, French and other languages a plus
