Detailed Description

The role of an Analyst in IB Coverage for Switzerland would be to assist on execution, marketing and coverage of Swiss large and midcap companies across M&A, equity and debt capital markets as well as acquisition finance with other colleagues from the Swiss team, as well as colleagues from various industry, other country and / or product teams across EMEA and globally.

Key Responsibilities

As an Analyst in IB Coverage for Switzerland, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Supporting on execution, marketing and coverage work across industries
  • Research and analysis of market data and companies
  • Supporting preparation of client presentations
  • Performing valuation analyses (e.g. based on multiples, DCF, LBO, etc.)
  • Building detailed and complex financial models
  • Executing transactions from pitch to close (e.g. public and private mergers, acquisitions and divestitures across all industry sectors, equity capital markets advisory on various types of capital raising transactions such as listings and rights issues across Switzerland, etc.)
Qualifications
  • Initial full-time Investment Banking or Corporate Finance experience
  • Excellent analytical skills, with high level of attention to detail
  • Very strong financial modelling / valuation skills
  • Comfort in and commitment to a strong teamwork environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Being adaptable, flexible and resilient
  • Ability to multitask on numerous assignments
  • Proficiency in MS office applications, profound knowledge of customary investment banking databases (FactSet, Bloomberg, etc.)
  • Strong academic background
  • Fluency in German and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
