Citi - Custody Product Specialist (Hybrid)

The Custody Product Specialist will work with Banking and Custody team on product management initiatives primarily supporting Custody product. The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge and experience of custody services. The role will require a skillset to support extensive stakeholder management, data analytics, product lifecycle, product management and partnering with sales functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Banking and Custody Product Manager and Product Head in product management activities
• Provide SME advice and input on custody product
• Maintain product programs and drive product projects
• Participate in risk, control and regulatory processes/reviews and governance forums
• Connect to industry sources to share industry specific updates to product and operations partners
• Support Bankers and Product Sales Specialists regarding Custody enquiries
• Routinely meet with product, control function and implementation partners
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Provide oversight over 3rd party service providers e.g. sub-custodian, data vendors
• Manage 3rd party relationships including performance of Annual due diligence, review service levels
• Act as BAO for custody activities for Citibank (Switzerland) AG

Key Competencies:

• Experience of working within custody business or operations
• Knowledge of custody services, processes and regulation
• Awareness of Private Banking (preferable, but not required)
• High degree of professionalism
• Strong written, listening & verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and consistent follow-up skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and display general responsiveness at all times
• Proficiency in MS Office, internet applications & pipeline reporting systems
• Knowledge of Swiss FINMA regulations related to Custody services
