Your role

Are you ready to take on a new challenge ? Are you confident to evolve in a challenging environment ? Can you handle a high number of client relationships ?

We’re looking for a client advisor for Iberian Affluent clients to:

  • manage an existing portfolio of clients in Spain and Portugal, monitoring investment plans and liquidity for cash needs, and building long-term relationships
  • keep accurate and up-to-date client documentation related to risk, compliance and regulations
  • provide comprehensive financial advice that meets client needs for investment, enterprise and family living standard
  • develop a strategic and tactical development plan, based on understanding of the client’s financial situation, investment objectives and expectations
  • grow local market network by referrals and identifying new prospects
  • contribute to an effective risk culture by complying with all regulations, policies and standards

Your team

You’ll be working in the team Affluent Europe International South in Geneva.

As a client advisor you’ll play an important role in building and maintaining precious relationships with clients located in Spain and Portugal. Our combined efforts help manage, preserve and grow the wealth of our clients, through strong partnership at every stage of their journey.

We are a small team pushing together into the same direction to service at best our clients and implement the bank’s strategy for Affluent clients within Wealth Management.

Your expertise

  • ideally three years of work experience within wealth management, preferably in a client-facing role or client service team
  • banking education (apprenticeship, traineeship or alternatively a university degree)
  • expert at building relationships (people want to know you)
  • strong interest in and understanding of financial markets and regulatory frameworks
  • resilient team player and truly service oriented
  • organized with great planning skills and efficient time management
  • excellent communicator in Spanish and Portuguese, French to support the local client base would be an asset.
  • able to manage objections and challenges in an independent way
  • excellent knowledge of the systems and procedures to manage an important client base
