Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Client Technical Leader with deep technical insights of our Solution Portfolio to support our clients along their hybrid and Multi Cloud Transformation towards a modern and state of the art IT Operating Model.

The Client Technical Leader is an experienced Technical Solution Manager who influences clients’ technology strategy, leveraging our solutions to solve their business challenges. In this role you deeply understand the client roadmap, business architecture and initiatives and their linkage to the client strategy. You educate and advise clients, influencing the client strategy at the highest levels by applying proven expertise. As part of this role you also paint a vision of how the application of our technologies, architectures, integrated solutions and offerings will solve clients’ business challenges, accelerate success and deliver extraordinary value.
The Technical Leader also leads the Garage Teams as an engine of co-creation and growth and he supports the achievement of business objectives through creation of opportunity pipeline.

We expect the Client Technical Leader to use the full capabilities of the corporation to create, articulate, and sell the buying vision based on an innovative and compelling value proposition, so that our clients clearly realize the financial benefits and transformational value to their business.

Skills:
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, fluent in German and English
  • Experience with IT transition & transformation towards Hybrid and Multi Cloud target Operating Models

  • Business unit, country, or international professional mastery related to operations, strategies, and objectives in leading edge or critical situations.
Communication/Negotiation:
  • Teamwork at highest levels. Plan and conduct complex negotiations reaching lasting agreements and commitments.

  • You contributes to policy making.
  • You are recognized as an expert and leader by members of a field, related functions, and multi -country organizations.
  • You lead national or international roject teams, conduct special projects, or manage functions or strategic departments.
Impact on Business/Scope:
  • In this role you are accountable for national or international projects or programs. Responsible for committing multiple resources and achieving customer satisfaction, cost, expense, revenue and other business measurements of critical importance. Responsible for quality output/value add for highly visible products, services and future business development.

About Business UnitThis position currently sits within Global Technology Services (GTS) Infrastructure Services (IS) or a shared services function supporting GTS.

As announced in October 2020, IBM intends that its managed infrastructure services business of the GTS organization will become an independent company named Kyndryl by the end of 2021, creating two distinct and powerful market-leading companies.
