Who are we?

We are Clinical Sciences and Innovation, a dynamic group of Clinical Scientists that plan and execute early phase trials worldwide. Always curious, innovative and inspiring, you will have a pivotal role in transitioning discovery research to clinical practice

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Drive and deliver all aspects of global clinical trial execution from study concept to final reporting across multiple therapeutic areas
  • Lead and matrix-manage global study teams, collaborating across the organization
  • Support project/program level decision making, with responsibility for program/project level activities for a compound or complex patient population
  • Manage scientifically and operationally complex studies
  • Mentor junior team members and nurture future talent
  • Establish standard methodologies and embrace an open culture
  • Implement novel trial designs.
  • You will help bring novel therapeutics closer to our patients
Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:

Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.

  • A life sciences PhD or PharmD (desirable); or BSc or MSc in life sciences
  • 8+ years’ experience with international Pharma / Sponsor clinical trial management and execution with expertise in managing all aspects of early phase clinical trials
  • Strong operational project management experience including strategic project management, excellent planning, prioritization, problem solving and organizational skills; used to managing multiple priorities concurrently
  • Demonstrated leadership and well-developed interpersonal skills with a proven record of successfully interacting with and influencing a wide range of people and building strong partnerships
  • Broad knowledge of drug development
  • Clear written and verbal expression of ideas; an active and proactive communicator
