Your role

Are you an experienced technologist with a broad range of skills in the Cyber Security? Are you an expert in the particulars of cloud and container security?

We are looking for a Cloud Security Specialist to:

  • provide expert advice and guidance on a modern approach for the bank to adopt public cloud securely.
  • design, deliver, and operate the technology platforms that provide security control capability for cloud and containers
  • provide insights into industry developments, new products or services, or research released to cloud security.
  • develop strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to advance the program agenda and related enterprise goals in support of the CISO’s strategic plans
  • drive strategic development, planning and execution of key program objectives

Your team

You will be a senior member of the Cloud Security team within the Cyber Technology & Architecture organization, which aligns to the bank’s global CISO organization. You will be reporting into the Head of Cloud Security, with a responsibility for organizational management, strategy, and delivery within the Cloud Security function.

Your expertise

  • 7+ years of experience in senior global technology roles, most of which will have been spent in the field of Cybersecurity or Technology Risk. Financial Services experience is a plus.
Expert level knowledge of:
  • public cloud concepts and security controls across IaaS, PaaS, as SaaS models
  • containers, container orchestration systems, and methods for securing containerized workloads
  • common attack surfaces in public cloud and how to reduce and/or defend them
  • working knowledge of CI/CD principles and how security controls can be applied to centralized pipelines
  • experience working closely with both infrastructure teams and development teams
  • comfortable working with and presenting to senior partners and stakeholders
  • proven background in delivering change in compressed timeframes
  • strong strategic thought leadership and problem-solving
  • proven ability to proactively solve problems and develop strategic recommendations with objective rationale
  • ability to leverage data to make effective business decisions
  • self-starter able to execute independently, on a deadline, and under pressure
