What’s the role?As a Cloud Solution Architect, you shape the future of Hilti’s Marketing and Sales integration platform. Your role will be to design secure, scalable and reliable solutions that drive operational excellence and enable seamless customer interaction with Hilti across our physical and digital channels. You provide technical guidance and craft directions for building the architecture, along with implementing the best practices and latest cyber security standards.Who is Hilti?If you’re new to the industry, you might not have heard of us. It’s where people explore possibilities, leverage their potential, own their personal development, and grow lasting careers.The Global IT teams, operating from our technology hubs in Switzerland, Malaysia, and the USA, work closely together by translating the latest IT innovations into sustainable, value-creating solutions & services for our customers.What does the role involve?In close collaboration with various cross-functional teams, you define the end-to-end integrations in the Marketing and Sales middleware, connecting core systems (SAP, Salesforce, Workday etc.) and exposing cloud services to internal and customer-facing applications. You understand stakeholders’ needs, as opposed to wants, and clearly explain risks and trade-offs of possible solutions. It is your responsibility to evaluate and design scalable cloud solutions on AWS, ensuring compliance with security and architecture standards. Together with other architects, you guard the integrity of the architecture by finding the right balance between innovation, technical feasibility, long-term sustainability, and agile delivery, without compromising quality, security and reliability. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar
• At least 2 years of experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect or comparable IT Architect role with system integration, enterprise architecture, or software development background
• Proven track record in design and implementation of cloud solutions on AWS, microservice & serverless architectures, data management patterns, and/or event-driven integration
• Experience with agile development methodologies and testing approaches, distributed version control, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of integration technologies and patterns of SAP and Salesforce is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills, structured approach to problem solving, and desire to continuously explore new technologies
• Ability to adaptively communicate with developers, other architects, management as well as business stakeholders
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
